Thank you for considering the Tortoise Hotel for your tortoise's boarding needs. We strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all tortoises in our care, and to ensure a smooth and hassle-free boarding experience for their owners. To help achieve this goal, we have established the following terms and conditions:
1. Health and Safety: The Tortoise Hotel reserves the right to refuse boarding or our hibernation service to any tortoise if it is found to be in poor health or condition upon arrival. This is for the safety and well-being of all animals in our care. We also reserve the right to separate tortoises if necessary to prevent any conflict or transmission of disease.
2. Care Instructions: All tortoise owners must provide detailed care instructions for their tortoise upon check-in. This includes feeding schedules, medical conditions, and any other specific needs. Failure to provide accurate and complete care instructions may result in additional charges or even the termination of the boarding contract.
3. Emergency Contact: Tortoise owners must provide valid emergency contact information before boarding their tortoise. This may include a phone number, email address, and/or alternative contact person. We will make every effort to contact the owner or emergency contact in case of an emergency or urgent situation.
4. Check-Out: Tortoise owners agree to pick up their tortoise promptly at the agreed-upon check-out time. Late pickups may be subject to an additional fee. We also reserve the right to transfer the tortoise to another facility or to contact animal control if the tortoise is not picked up within a reasonable time.
5. Liability: By choosing to board or hibernate your tortoise at the Tortoise Hotel, the owner acknowledges and accepts all risks involved. The Tortoise Hotel cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, death, theft, or other incidents that may occur during the tortoise's stay.
